The director of Loving Care Senior Citizen Home was charged with intimidating or exploiting a disabled adult Dec. 4, following a Georgia Department of Community Health inspection, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police conducted an investigation of the 4225 Alton Street facility at about 1:30 p.m., Dec. 4, allegedly finding several violations indicating 55-year-old Sheryl Drakeford exploited disabled adults, elderly persons and residents.

Officers spoke with several patients who claimed they had not received the funds which were being channeled through Drakeford.
