The same night that nine vehicles were damaged by gunshot at Hunter Haven Apartments, two juveniles were allegedly pistol whipped, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police responded to the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital at about 2 a.m., Tuesday, to meet with a 14-year-old and 16-year-old, who both said they had been pistol whipped just after midnight.

The juveniles told police a 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 black man with dreads down to his chin threatened them in the parking lot earlier that night. He was further described as having a medium build and light complexion.

The assault caused a one inch laceration to both boys.
