Mayor Teresa Tomlinson will hold the final of her four 2013 quarterly public forums Thursday at Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, 6959 Warm Springs Road in Midland, from 6-7:30 p.m.

The forums, dubbed “Let’s Talk … with the Mayor,” are intended to provide citizens with access to city leaders and to foment discussion on issues facing the city. In addition to the mayor and some members of Columbus Council, top city executives are on hand to answer questions from citizens.

Tomlinson began her series of public forums during her first year in office. She held forums that year at the Delta Sigma Theta House on Forrest Road, the Midland Masonic Lodge on Garrett Road, American Legion Post 267 on Cusseta Road and the main Public Library on Macon Road.

In 2012, forums were been held at St. John AME Church on Steam Mill Road, Wynnbrook Baptist Church on River Road, CSU’s Cunningham Center and the River Mill Event Center in Bibb City.

Forums earlier this year have been held at Brookstone School, Liberty Hill Baptist Church and the Springer Opera House.
