Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Youngstown St

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Lamar Patterson scored 18 points and Talib Zanna notched his 10th career double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds, as the Pittsburgh Panthers ousted the Youngstown State Penguins, 91-73, in a non-conference tilt inside Peterson Events Center.

Cameron Wright added 13 points to help the Panthers (10-0) remain perfect on the season. Derrick Randall chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench, while Michael Young finished with 10 points and seven boards.

The Penguins (7-5) fell to 1-4 in true road games, despite a game-high 28 points from Kendrick Perry. Kamren Belin tallied 13 points to round out the double-digit scorers.

Perry scored the Penguins' first seven points and had 13 by halftime, although YSU shot just 40.7 percent as a team in the opening frame while Pitt claimed a 43-32 lead at the break.

The Panthers opened the second stanza with a 7-0 spurt and never looked back, as they shot a healthy 55.9 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes.

Pitt simply dominated the boards as it enjoyed a 47-21 rebounding advantage for the game.
