BCS Ticket Watch: Where to find the cheapest seats for the game

acarlson@ledger-enquirer.comDecember 16, 2013

In exactly three weeks, Auburn will face Florida State University (and its Heisman-winning quarterback) in the BCS National Championship in Pasadena, Calif.

According to Auburn's official information, the school will receive 20,200 tickets, costing $325 and $385 each (with the exception of student tickets, which are $215 and $325 each). Unfortunately, that information is useless if you aren't already in some way connected with the school — either faculty, staff, a student or a donor.

But there are other ways to get tickets.

StubHub has about 3,990 tickets left to buy. (A warning: that number is going down constantly.) Prices range from $799-$192,500 (for one suite ticket).

Ticketmaster, unfortunately, is all sold out.

eBay is not out of tickets, with most of them in the mid-to-high 1000s — though the nature of the electronic bidding site will surely change that before each auction ends. Parking passes, meanwhile, are going for no less than $440.

Check back on this page periodically over the next three weeks. We'll update with the best ticket info as we find it.
