Raymond Leon Richmond, 27, was arrested Monday for the Nov. 9 murder of Terrell Screws, Columbus police said.

Richmond, who also goes by the street name “Little Raymond,” was arrested “without incident” at about 1 p.m. in Phenix City, Ala., and turned over to Columbus police, according to a release.

The arrest was made in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals and Phenix City police.

Richmond has been sought as a supect in the shooting since late November, when a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Screws was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body outside a home on Winston Road. Investigators were unable to determine why Screws, who resided on Twin Chapel Drive, was at the home.
