Suspect marijuana dealer arrested near Seventh Avenue

A 34-year-old man was charged with intending to sell marijuana Monday afternoon after he was stopped near the intersection of 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

Officers stopped Dantonio Gibson at about 2 p.m., while he was driving his 1999 gold Saturn. The reason for the stop was not given.

The amount of marijuana allegedly found in Gibson's possession was not disclosed.

Gibson was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
