Spencer High student charged with selling marijuana

After multiple students reported him for allegedly selling marijuana to his peers, a 14-year-old William Henry Spencer High School student was charged Monday, according to a Columbus Police report.

An administrator told an officer working part-time as school security that the 14-year-old boy had been reported for selling marijuana at school. When the administrator confronted him, he found a clear plastic bag that contained eight smaller baggies. Each baggy had .5 grams of marijuana in it. The total weight was 4.9 grams.

The juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school. His case will be heard in Juvenile Court.
