Jesus Dominguez

— Police believe they've found the body of a 4-year-old boy, presumed missing since Thursday afternoon, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Officials initially issued a Levi's Call following the disappearance of Jesus Dominguez, 4, after police responded to the 200 block of Old Holcomb Bridge Way at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday and found the boy's mother, whose name has not been released, "seriously injured," according to the paper.

She was transported to the hospital.

Police said searchers found Jesus' body Friday morning in a "wooded area about a half-mile" from his mother's apartment, according to the AJC.

Police also appear to have found Jesus' father, Carlos Alberto Dominguez, who had been earlier identified as a suspect by police.

“It appears to be a murder-suicide,” said Roswell police spokeswoman Lisa Holland.
