Yorkshire, United Kingdom (SportsNetwork.com) - Stuart Hall earned a 12-round unanimous decision over Vusi Malinga to win the vacant IBF bantamweight title.

Two judges scored the bout 117-110 and the other had it 116-111.

The 33-year-old Hall (16-2-1), a native of Darlington, hasn't lost since July of last year.

Malinga (21-5-1), who is from South Africa, was in his third world title fight. He also suffered a defeat to Leo Santa Cruz in June of 2012 for this same belt and was a first-round TKO loser to Hozumi Hasegawa in 2009 in a WBC bantamweight title bout.
