Burglars attempt to steal televisions from Sandy Bottom Drive home

Burglars attempted to steal several wall-mounted televisions from inside a home on Sandy Bottom Drive in Columbus but were not successful.

According to police report, somebody broke into the house through a back door causing less than $500 in damage.

Several drawers had been tampered with but it was not known at the time of discovery if anything of value had been taken.

The burglary occurred Friday between 1:15 p.m. and 1:40 p.m.

A neighbor noticed that a door had been kicked in and called police.
