Police search for McAlister's Deli robber

Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect who allegedly held employees of the Veteran's Parkway McAlister's Deli at gunpoint Sunday, according to a Columbus Police press release.

Police arrived at the restaurant at about 9:20 p.m. Employees reported that a 5-foot-10, slim black man entered through the side door and pointed a semi-automatic at employees. He was allegedly wearing a black and white striped hoodie, had a medium to dark complexion and was wearing a black piece of cloth over his face.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with information should contact Investigative Services at 706-653-3400.
