Man shot outside Waffle House during robbery

A 21-year-old man is in stable condition after an alleged robber shot him during a hold up outside the Manchester Expressway Waffle House Sunday, according to a Columbus Police report.

Witnesses told police that the suspect, armed with a hand gun, approached the man at about 3:30 a.m. He allegedly shot the victim in the chest and leg.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot to 6-foot-2 black man with a medium complexion. He appeared to be in his 20s, and was estimated to weigh between 170 and 180 pounds. He had dreads with blond tips and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.
