Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Dec. 8, Columbus Police Youth Services representatives said Tuesday.

Qualithia Holmes, 14, was last seen on Chattsworth Road on Dec. 8. She is described as a light-skinned black girl with black eyes and short, light brown hair. She is between 5-foot and 5-foot-1 in height, and weighs between 120 and 130 pounds.

Officials said police began seeking the public's help in finding Holmes Monday because of the length of time she has been missing.
