A call to police about a domestic disturbance at a Columbus motel Monday night turned into a charge of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute, according to a police report.

Louie Mattocks, 42, of Sixth Avenue still was in the Muscogee County Jail as of Wednesday morning, the jail’s website showed.

Officer Christian Gibney was dispatched to the Super 8 Motel at 2935 Warm Springs Road in reference to a domestic disturbance. The report doesn’t mention the amount or value of the methamphetamine Mattocks allegedly possessed. The case remains under investigation, the report says.
