LaGrange police seek help in finding battery and robbery suspect

LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect involved in a battery and robbery.

According to a news release, police have named Victor Asberry, 39, of South Page Street in LaGrange as the suspect in the incident that happened around 10 p.m. Monday night on McGregor Street, where the victim said he was assaulted and robbed of his money by his cousin.

Police ask anyone with information about this case to call the department at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000. Anonymous tips also can be sent via text to 274637 with the keyword “LAGRANGE” or online at www.lagrangega.org or www.facebook.com/lagrange.police.
