Woman's gun snatched during Mesa Street robbery

A robber allegedly snatched a .38 caliber Smith & Wesson from a Phenix City woman Wednesday, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 47-year-old woman told police she was on the 2600 block of Mesa Street at about 11 a.m. when a man known only as "B.J." stole her gun.

No sufficient description of "B.J." was available. Anyone with additional information should contact Investigative Services at 706-653-3400.
