Police investigate theft of televisions, computer, cash from McCartha Drive home

A 69-year-old Columbus woman reported to police that several items were stolen from her McCartha Drive home including $900 kept in an envelope.

Also taken, according to the police report, were a 46-inch Vizio television , a 46-inch Samsung television, a Seiko DVD player, and an HP desk top computer.

The victim returned home around 6 p.m. Friday and found items in her home had been stolen. She had been gone since 3 p.m. on Thursday. She found her back door open but there was no damage to the door.

Items were taken from two bedrooms and the living room.

The estimated value of the items taken is $3000.
