Columbus police say man has arm fractured by pool stick

Update:Judge Michael Joyner set $10,000 bond for Dominguez's aggravated assault charge in Columbus Recorder's Court Monday.

Xavier Alberto Dominguez, 28, of Columbus, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after a Sunday morning incident in which a man had his right forearm fractured.

According to the police report, the incident took place at the Mix Ultra Lounge on Broadway around 12:50 a.m. Dominguez is accused of swinging a pool stick and striking the 45-year-old Hamilton, Ga. resident.

The victim refused to be transported to the hospital by Columbus EMS and told officers he would go himself.

An EMS medic did examine the arm and said there was an obvious fracture.

The case remains under investigation
