Group of 10 jumps LaGrange teen

A LaGrange teen was allegedly jumped late Sunday by a group of 10, including several juveniles, according to a news release.

Police responded to the 100 block of Old Airport Road in LaGrange, Ga., at about 10 p.m. in reference to a request for medical attention. Upon arrival, they were advised that the victim had been taken to West Georgia Medical Center.

There, the victim, 17, told police he had been attacked by 10 suspects, including juveniles, at the intersection of Broom and Bull Streets.

During the attack, one of the suspects allegedly struck the victim on his head with a metal pipe.

The case is under investigation. Anyone with additional information should contact LaGrange police at 706-883-2603.
