Warrants out for man for Enoch Drive kidnapping

Warrants are out for one man following the alleged assault and imprisonment of his partner this weekend, according to a Columbus police report.

Officers responded to an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Enoch Drive at about 1 p.m. Saturday, in reference to an earlier assault that day. In the course of their investigation, Demetrious West was named as the suspect.

His victim suffered bruising on her face, back, arm and leg; she also had a black eye.

She was taken to the Midtown Medical Center and treated.

Warrants have been obtained for kidnapping and false imprisonment.
