Three men were stabbed during an altercation at Lances Pub on Opelika Road in Phenix City Wednesday morning.

Arrested and charged with assault in the second degree is Ralph Michael Johnson of Smiths.

Phenix City police Lt. Steve Nolin said more charges will be coming.

One man was stabbed in the stomach, one in the leg and one in the hand.

Nolin said the man with the stomach wound is at Midtown Medical Center.

Nolin said police got the call at 1:58 a.m. and when officers arrived they saw "a lot of blood."

"I believe the place was just a few minutes from closing," Nolin said.

Nolin said a brawl broke out at the pub with several people fighting. It is believed it all began with an altercation involving Johnson.
