SPENCER ADVANCES

The Spencer wrestling team advanced to the state duals for the fifth time in the last six years as it finished second in the Area 5-AA tournament on Friday.

The Greenwave beat Northeast-Macon 61-18 and Monticello 34-33 before losing to Bremen in the finals.
