Burglars take electronics and jewelry

Among the items reported taken in a Kings Point Drive burglary is a computer valued at $1,100.

According to the Columbus police report, also taken were jewelry and other electronic equipment. The total amount of items taken is estimated at $3,000.

The theft occurred Friday between 6:45 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.

Entry was made through a rear window that had been pried open. The damage is estimated at $300.

Police: Man struck on head, robbed of $82 in cash

Columbus police are investigating the report of a man being struck in the head and robbed Saturday on 17th Avenue.

According to the report, the crime occurred around 6 a.m.

The 50-year-old victim was attacked in the street and robbed of $82.

He suffered bruises on his head and above his right eye.

The victim took himself to Midtown Medical Center, where he was treated.

TV, videogames taken from Glenmere Drive home

Columbus police are investigating the reported theft of a television and three Playstation video games from a home on Glenmere Drive.

According to the police report, the crime occurred Friday around 9:50 p.m.

Police responded to an alarm and found a rear window of the house had been shattered. The estimated cost of the damage is $300.

The television was a 55-inch Samsung with an estimated value of $1,900.
