Armed robber allegedly hits 29th Street man with wrench

A man was hit with a wrench in his 29th Street apartment Tuesday morning during an alleged armed robbery, according to a Columbus Police report.

The 53-year-old victim told police the robber hit him in the head with the tool in his 1400 block apartment's dining room. The back of his head was cut during the incident.

The victim reported that the robber took an empty bottle of Oxycodone, as well as one containing pills. A Xanax bottle was also taken.

No description of the robber was given.
