Three men in their 20s attacked and robbed a 46-year-old Meritas Drive resident out on the street Monday, Columbus police reported.

The victim said he was at the intersection of Meritas Drive and Apex Road at 9:50 p.m. when three black men wearing hoodies and jeans accosted him. One punched him in the left side of his face before the robbers took $150 from him, he told police.

They also took his house keys before the three then fled in an older model red Ford pickup, he reported.

Taken by ambulance to The Medical Center, the man was treated for a swollen left check, police said.
