An Athens burglar left a resident dog feces after he allegedly took about $60 worth of costume jewelry and frozen shrimp, according to an Athens Banner-Herald report.

The burglar, who the victim believes to be a relative, also allegedly drank beverages and moved furniture around in the home. The victim told police that the relative she suspects frequently shows up at her residence and asking for money or a place to stay. That relative allegedly sometimes sleeps on the porch.

No arrests have been reported in the case.
