Todd Grantham's first tweets at Louisville

These days, it's only official when someone changes their Twitter account handle. So it is with Todd Grantham, who has changed his account to to @CoachTGrantham. (It had been @COachTUGA).

And here are Grantham's first two tweets at Louisville:

It could mean something. It might not. But I obviously felt it was worth posting.

Louisville officially announced Grantham's hiring on Thursday. Interestingly, Grantham will be coaching the safeties, after coaching the outside linebackers at Georgia. (His brother Tony will coach Louisville's outside linebackers.) And prior to coming to Georgia, Grantham coached the defensive line for the Dallas Cowboys.

Here is Bobby Petrino's statement on Grantham:

“To get a coach like Todd Grantham on our staff says a lot about our program. I’ve had the opportunity to compete against Todd’s defenses over the years and have been very impressed with his scheme and how hard his players compete. Todd will be a great addition to lead our defense.”
