Cocaine investigation on Second Avenue in Columbus

Eight people have been detained while Special Operations Unit agents perform a cocaine investigation on a house on Second Avenue, according to Columbus Police officials. About a dozen officers were spotted searching the 2600 block Second Avenue house at about 2:30 p.m. The investigation has been ongoing since about 1:30 p.m. No charges have been filed yet. The amount of cocaine alleged to be at the house has not been determined. More information will be added as it becomes available.
