Man reports being robbed at gunpoint of cash, medication on Belmont Street

Columbus police are investigating the reported theft of cash and medication from a resident of Belmont Street.

According to the police report, the crime occurred around 12:25 a.m. Saturday.

Reported stolen was $118 in cash, Oxycontin valued at $510 and Percocet valued at $510.

On Sunday, the victim said that three men were involved and one put a pistol to his face and threatened to kill him.

He said he had been sleeping and the thieves awakened him.

He said two of the thieves were black and one white.
