Gunman, two others steal cash and medications

Columbus police are investigating the reported theft of cash and medication from a resident of Belmont Street.

According to the police report, the crime occurred around 12:25 a.m. Saturday.

Reported stolen were $118 in cash, Oxycontin valued at $510 and Percocet valued at $510.

On Sunday, the victim said that three men were involved and one put a pistol to his face and threatened to kill him.

He said he had been sleeping and the thieves awakened him.

He said two of the thieves were black and one white.

Man reports armed robbery outside Carousel Lounge

A 31-year-old Columbus man told police he was robbed at gunpoint outside the Carousel Lounge on Victory Drive.

According to the police report, the man was robbed in the parking lot Saturday around 10 p.m.

Police noticed open wounds on the victim's face. He refused to be taken for medical treatment.

The suspects are two black males, both of whom were dressed in all black.

Taken were keys to the victim's home and car, a cellphone, and two Wells Fargo debit cards.

Burglar damages home, steals car engine

A car engine valued at $2,000 has been reported stolen from a home on Gleason Avenue in Columbus.

According to the police report, the burglary occurred between Saturday, Jan. 11, and Saturday, Jan. 18.

A rear window of the house had been shattered. The value of the damage was estimated at $350.
