Police seek help in finding Circle K suspect

Columbus police are seeking the public's help in finding the person who on Jan. 14 robbed the Circle K store at 2233 Fort Benning Road.

The thief was armed with a black handgun.

He is described as a black male with a light complexion and a slim build. He was wearing a black T-shirt, jeans and black shoes. He wore a black net over his face.

The crime occurred around 10:26 p.m.

The suspect took cash from the store and fled on foot.

Swords and electronics reported stolen from home

A Toshiba laptop computer, Emerson television and a set of swords were among items reported stolen from a home on Pye Avenue in Columbus.

According to a police report, the crime occurred Saturday between 6 p.m. and 9:20 p.m.

Entry was made through the front door which was damaged. Police officers reported that it looked like someone had kicked it open.

The owner of the house told police that when she returned home around 9:20 p.m. she found her house in total disarray.
