LaGrange teens allegedly pistol whip hostage

Two LaGrange teens are facing adult charges after they allegedly bashed a 23-year-old man with a handgun during a home invasion Friday, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.

Police responded to the victim's home on Handley Street at about 10 p.m., where they found the man with numerous head injuries. The victim told police he had been bludgeoned with a handgun inside his home by two teen robbers.

During the home invasion, the suspects allegedly forced the victim into his bathroom and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. A flat-screen TV was also taken.

Not far from the scene, 17-year-old Hugh Davidson and 15-year-old Huzavier Davidson were arrested in connection with the crime. They were subsequently charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Huzavier was charged as an adult during the investigation.

Hugh was transported to Troup County Jail. Huzavier was transported to Aaron Cohn Youth Detention Center.
