Woman charged with $200 worth of Xanax

A 23-year-old woman was charged with possession of more than $200 worth of Xanax after she was stopped near the intersection of Eleanor Avenue and 54th Street Tuesday, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police arrested Annie Creasy at about 6:30 p.m. after they found 8.5 Alprazolam, or Xanax, pills in her possession. The pills were valued at $212.50.

The reason for the stop was not given.

She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
