The Atlantic Coast Conference released Georgia Tech's football schedule on Wednesday.
The Jackets will open the season at home against Wofford on Aug. 30. Tech opens ACC play on the road at Virginia Tech on Sept. 20.
All 12 of Tech's games will be on a Saturday. That is the first time for that since 1992.
Tech will not a play a Thursday night game for just the second time since 1993. The Jackets didn't play a Thursday game in 2012, but did play on a Monday.
"Even though you know what opponents you will play, it's always an exciting time for the players, coaches and fans when the schedule is officially released," coach Paul Johnson said in a news release. It's certainly a challenging schedule. Five of our six road games come against teams that played in bowl games last season and the home schedule is strong as well."
The Jackets will play at Georgia on Nov. 29. They will host Georgia Southern on Sept. 13.
