Three vacant homes were damaged during a Thursday morning fire after one house caught fire on Sixth Avenue, according to Columbus Fire Department officials.

Fire Marshal Ricky Shores said 3217 and 3221 Sixth Avenue were damaged after 3219 Sixth Avenue caught fire Thursday morning. By the time firefighters responded to the call at about 2:51 a.m., the fire was "well involved," Shores said.

No injuries were reported. A damage estimate was not immediately available. The fires are under investigation, Shores said.
