Woman's teeth loosened during alleged Hunter Road battery

A 34-year-old Hunter Road man was charged with family violence battery Thursday after he allegedly beat a woman so severely that her teeth were loosened, according to a Columbus Police report.

An officer was patrolling the 5600 block of Hunter Road when he came upon the 31-year-old woman, who was bleeding from numerous injuries on her face. She told police that Jermaine Pritchett punched her repeatedly in the face at about 10:40 a.m.

Pritchett was arrested and taken to Muscogee County Jail.
