Kyle Fuller added 19 points to help the Commodores (10-8, 2-4 SEC) end a two- game slide.
Kourtney Roberson had 14 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Aggies (12-7, 3-3), who lost at home for only the second time in 13 tries this season.
Neither team shot better than 40 percent from the floor in the first half, although Vanderbilt made four 3-pointers as it took a slim 27-25 lead into the break.
The Commodores took control with a 13-0 run midway through the second stanza, and Texas A&M was held to 32.3-percent shooting over the final 20 minutes.
