Gould Street house ransacked, cigarettes stolen

A woman told Columbus police that her house on Gould Street was ransacked and two packs of Newport cigarettes were taken.

According to the police report, also taken was an unknown amount of quarters.

Entry was made through a kitchen window.

The victim told police her mattress had been flipped and all of the drawers were open.

The crime occurred Saturday between 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

Anyone with information should contact Columbus police.
