Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyle Anderson tallied 17 points, 12 rebounds and five assists to help lead the UCLA Bruins past the California Golden Bears, 76-64, in a Pac-12 Conference showdown at Pauley Pavilion.

David Wear scored 18 points and corralled seven boards for UCLA (16-4, 5-2 Pac-12), which has won four of five. Bryce Alford netted 13 points, while Jordan Adams and Norman Powell scored 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Jordan Mathews poured in 18 points for Cal (14-6, 5-2), which has suffered back-to-back losses on the heels of a six-game winning streak. Justin Cobbs finished with 14 points, Jabari Bird added 12 points and Richard Solomon posted nine points and 14 rebounds.

UCLA set the tone early on by outshooting Cal from the field in the first half, 51.7 percent to 34.5 percent, and it took a 40-29 lead into the halftime locker room.

The Bruins extended their lead to 19 early in the second half, but the Golden Bears made things interesting by ripping off an 18-2 run to get within three points of the lead, 53-50, with under 10 minutes to play. Cal would get no closer, however, and UCLA put a stamp on the victory by shooting 9-of-10 from the free-throw line over the final 1:23.

Cal could not get untracked from 3-point range, shooting just 4-of-21. UCLA, meanwhile, was 5-of-9 from long distance.
