Colorado Springs, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The United States announced its full roster for the upcoming Winter Olympics and will send 230 athletes to Sochi.

The team is comprised of 105 women and 125 men. It is the largest athlete delegation for any nation in the history of the Winter Games. The United States will be represented in all 15 disciplines across seven sports.

"This is the largest team we have ever sent to an Olympic Winter Games, and I'd like to commend all of those who helped support our athletes in the pursuit of their Olympic dreams," said United States Olympic Committee CEO Scott Blackmun in a statement Monday. "I am very excited to watch them compete as they represent our nation with excellence and distinction on the world stage."

A total of 106 athletes are returning Olympians, including nordic combined skier Todd Lodwick, who will become the first American to compete at six Winter Olympics.
