Two killed in Tuscaloosa train accident

— Two men were killed Tuesday morning when their pickup truck collided with a train about two miles north of Cottondale, according to an Alabama Department of Public Safety press release.

Charles Kelly Meiklejohn, 57, was driving on Larry Noland Road in his GMC pickup truck with the truck collided with the train. Both Meiklejohn and passenger Nahum Terrance Mickles, 39, were killed.

Both men were from Foley, Ala.

Initial investigations suggest the crash may have been weather-related.
