Report: Man breaks into Creek Way home, assaults teen with box cutter

Police are searching for a suspected burglar after he allegedly broke into a Creek Way home and assaulted a 16-year-old girl with a box cutter Wednesday, according to a Columbus Police report.

At about 9:15 p.m., a 25-year-old resident of the home called police to report her Creek Way apartment had been broken into. The suspect allegedly shattered the front window to gain entry.

During the incident, the man allegedly assault a 16-year-old girl with a box cutter. She was cut on her right arm and the back of her head.

Officers have released warrants for suspect KenDaryl Rogers. A description of the suspect was not available.
