North Oakley Drive man charged with lacerating two women

A 33-year-old North Oakley Drive man was charged with two counts of family violence related battery Sunday after he allegedly lacerated two women, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Third Avenue Sunday at about 9 p.m. When officers arrived, the 34-year-old victim had lacerations on her left shin; the 28-year-old woman had lacerations on her left foot and was scraped on her left shoulder.

Officers did not specify what weapon was used during the alleged attack.

Quentin L. Murphy was arrested shortly after. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
