Jamie Casino is a personal injury attorney in Savannah. He is also the man behind what many are calling some variation of "the most epic Super Bowl ad" this year or maybe ever. Casino's ad aired during the first local commercial break of the Seahawks/Broncos game, which was otherwise sorely lacking in drama.
Not Casino: the ad piles voice-over atop voice-over atop dramatization atop sledgehammer. A cute boy points the way toward the video's moral message, which is basically that Casino was chosen by God to be a successful lawyer and avenge his brother's death.
A 30-second national spot reportedly sold for $4 million this year (a record). Casino probably didn't pay that much for his space, since the ad only aired in Savannah, but he clearly didn't spend nothing sledgehammers aren't free. Monday morning, Casino shared the video on his firm's Facebook page with the caption, "My little brother is smiling from heaven."
