Alleged thief uses keyless ignition to steal vehicle from Circle K

A man found his mother's Toyota Avalon stolen after he went inside the Milgen Road Circle K and left the vehicle unlocked Monday, according to a Columbus Police report.

The victim told police he had only been in the store a few minutes when the thief allegedly hopped inside his vehicle and used the keyless ignition to start the car. The theft occurred at about 10:30 p.m.

The car was later found in an undisclosed location. No arrests were listed on the report. A description was not available of the suspect.
