College baseball: CSU defeats Tuskegee 11-1

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Blake Edwards went 6-for-6 Wednesday to lead Columbus State to an 11-1 win over Tuskegee at Paterson Field.

The Cougars (2-2) pounded out 13 hits in the victory.

Riley Presnell (1-0) got the win in relief of starter Jordan Villhauer. Villhauer struck out six and worked a scoreless three innings.

Brendan Collins and Jackson Oliver both had multi-hit games for the Courgars.

Tuskegee (2-1) manager one unearned run off Presnell.

CSU hosts Lynn for a home-opening doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ragsdale Field.
