Ice Bears defeat Cottonmouths 4-3

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Berkley Scott scored on a penalty shot with six seconds left in the game to give Knoxville a 4-3, come-from-behind win over the Columbus Cottonmouths Thursday night.

Matt Gingera got the Snakes on the board at 10:38 of the first period with assists from Tom Maldonado and Jordan Draper. Knoxville countered late in the period to tie it on a goal by Brad Pawlowski. He had assists from Berkley Scott and Ben Power.

The Ice Bears took a 2-1 lead in the second period on a goal by Eric Satim with assists from Power and Berkley Scott at 0:48. The Snakes tied the game at 10:05 of the second period on a goal by Neilsson Arcibal with an assist by Tory Allan.

The teams traded goals late in the third period. The Snakes' Kyle Johnson scored to make it 3-2 at 15:05. Johnson got assists from Jason Gray and Alex Gallant. Knoxville's David Segal then scored on a power play to tie the game at 18:37 of third period.
