Laura Elmore

Laura Elmore was allegedly determined not to be thrown out of her Cochran Avenue home.

After her 39-year-old husband allegedly threw her out for flinging a glass plate at his thigh, the 38-year-old woman reportedly broke a window. The alleged battery occurred at about 7:30 p.m., Sunday.

When police arrived, the husband told police that he threw Elmore out after she lobbed the plate, which cut his wrist and thigh. The projectile also broke his watch, according to the report.

Elmore was determined to be the primary aggressor. She was charged with family violence related simple battery and taken to Muscogee County Jail.
