Georgia school samples Vanilla Ice in snow day announcement

Atlanta weather forecasters called this week's winter storm system possibly "devastating." CNN labeled it "historic" and "crippling."

But after two days of snow and ice — and a few hundred thousand people without power — some took a sillier view: take, for example, this automated message sent to parents and students in Carroll County, Ga., via Deadspin:

(Yep, that's "Ice Ice Baby" you're hearing.)

My favorite lyric is easily "I cancel school like a vandal" because it makes no sense and is still informative! Who knew?
